Dear Son’Spot Family,

Praise the Lord and blessings in Jesus’ name. The Lord is changing lives and we are anticipating a great outpouring as we approach the 46th summer of ministry through The Son’Spot. Please pray with us for God’s presence and anointing to accomplish His plans through us this summer. Jesus said that He only did and said what His Father told him to do and say. That is our heart’s desire. It’s ALL about HIM.

The Lord continues to meet people right at their specific point of need. One by one people receive from the Lord during times of worship, preaching, Bible, fellowship, and outreach meals.

Starting June 8 we will gather everyday (except Wednesday) at 10am for sharing the Word and prayer, then complete work projects, and at 5pm go on the boardwalk for outreach ministry. We gather again at 8pm for Bible, prayer, and fellowship, and at 9pm worship with music and song (Tuesdays are English Club). Additionally, the food outreach ministry includes dinner on Thursdays at 5:30pm, and breakfast on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 7:30am. Each week we also deliver food bags and minister to people in their homes. We meet on Sunday mornings from 10am to noon.

The Word

Be encouraged and of good cheer. God loves you and has a plan for you. That plan starts by repenting of your sin and accepting Jesus into your heart and making Him Lord of your life. Give up control and let Him take the wheel. God says, “I alone know the plans I have for you, plans to bring you prosperity and not disaster, plans to bring about the future you hope for.” He also said that His yoke is easy and His burden is light. So don’t worry about what you will eat or where you will live, instead be concerned with the Kingdom of God and what He requires of you, and God will provide you with all these other things. Thank you, Lord. (The Bible: Jeremiah 29:11; Matthew 11:30 & 6:31-34)

The scripture tells us to go into all the world and preach the Gospel. People from many countries will come into The Son’Spot this summer. We greet them, share Jesus with them, and encourage them. Please pray with us for the Lord to have His way in using The Son’Spot and us in Ocean City.
