The same Spirit-led ministry that the Lord does everyday at The Son’Spot is what He does during the Jesus At The Beach Music & Ministry Festival. The only difference is instead of one ministry team, during the festival there are several ministry teams. To accommodate more people we will gather inside the Convention Center during the day. And for outreach ministry we gather on the beach at night. Last year God used many people to minister through music, song, preaching, prayer, witnessing, sand sculpture, dramas, dance, and fellowship. God is so good. It was awesome to watch the Lord minister to so many of the thousands on the boardwalk. Thank you, Lord, for the opportunity to lift up the name of Jesus in Ocean City. And thank you, Lord, for the privilege of being your vessel.

Good News Reports From Last Year’s Jesus At The Beach Festival

Our theme verse is John 12:32, “Jesus said, and I, if I be lifted up … will draw all men unto me.” So that’s the reason we do everything that we do; to lift up the name of Jesus.

“I had an incredible time during the worship. We really had the opportunity to worship in Spirit and in Truth. It was awesome and I really enjoyed it. A whole lot of people from the boardwalk really felt the presence of the Lord and that was amazing. There were several people that came up to me and said wow, I heard that from far away and I came because I really sensed that the Lord was here so I came and it was great, so I’m so glad I stopped. It was really neat. I had an amazing time on the stage and in the sand. It was wonderful to be able to worship the Lord in a public atmosphere and just be a light.”

“For me, it was an extreme breakthrough in freedom, to let go of the past, and worship according to the Holy Spirit. What each of us were sensing by the Spirit was what was needed for that particular time. I saw several people coming up to the prayer tent while we were worshiping outside. That was really cool. It was an understanding of freedom and allowing the Holy Spirit to set things in His timing.”

“I thank God for this awesome opportunity that He gave me to come down here and especially encounter this awesome festival for the first time. It was such a great presence of God, especially in the Convention Center. My favorite part was the baptism that we got to do. We led people to Him and they made their decision to follow Him and surrendered their lives through baptism. That was one of the moments. And of course the evening sessions with worship. The tangible presence of God was there. Even though a lot of distractions were there, we kept our focus on Him, we kept our eyes on Him. We didn’t move a bit. We didn’t stop a bit. Even though a lot of climate issues were there, but we never stopped looking at His face. That was my favorite part. I sensed His presence right on the stage and all the way to the back.”

“It was just a wonderful time. The whole festival was very much like a personal moment for me, an eye opener personally. And an eye opener for a lot of people also. With worship leaders when you’re leading worship, you make sure the people come into the presence of God and start worshiping and praising, and get free. But at the same time, most of the times when I lead worship, I’m doing something but personally it’s hard to get the same effect for me when I’m leading worship. But at this festival I was able to do that for myself more, and I concentrated a lot more on myself because if I can freely worship God than I can lead people to freely worship God too. And it happened. This lady came up to me and said she had been wanting to grow in the Lord and worship God, but it is so hard sometimes and I was just listening to her and she said that tonight was one of the first nights after a long time where I could come into God’s presence and finally burst into tears and finally worship Him for what He is to me. It kind of opened my eyes because worship is not just an element. It’s not just a part of a service, but it is life changing because we don’t serve a dead God. We serve a living God and His Word is true. And what we are singing is from the Word. And so the Word brings life. And so I was just blessed listening to different people’s testimonies when they came to me. This lady said that she’s going to make it a habit to actually get her own secret place with God. And that was the whole thing that God was showing me, that people need to know that they need to get personal with Him. And like how do you say that. I can’t go to everyone and say that they need a personal time with God. But the Holy Spirit worked during worship. The Holy Spirit worked through people’s testimonies and a lot of people got the message, especially this lady because she needed that secret time and that secret place. So I praise God for that.”

We praise and thank the Lord for all the ministry He accomplished during the festival.

This Year’s Jesus At The Beach Festival

The twenty-seventh annual JESUS AT THE BEACH MUSIC & MINISTRY FESTIVAL will be on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, July 26, 27, & 28, 2021. The Festival will begin each day at 10am until approximately 1pm at the Ocean City Convention Center (ROOM 217 – second floor, last room at end of right hallway) with praise, worship, dance, drama, testimony, preaching, prayer, and Holy Spirit ministry. A baptism service is planned for Wednesday, following the meeting, at approximately 1pm or so, in the ocean near the Convention Center. If rain prevents us from being outside, the evening ministry will relocate to the Convention Center. Please pray for good weather.
